………………………………......Brooklyn township, Schuyler county,
and departed this life Thursday morning, Aug. 18, 1932, at 8 o’clock p.m. after being in poor health for the past year, being at the
time of her death 47 years, 3 months and 15 days of age.
On August 6, 1903, she was united in marriage to Noah Willey, who departed this life six years ago. To this union two children
were born, Mrs. Goldie DeWeese, of near Industry and Lorena, aged nine, at home.
She leaves to mourn her departure besides, her two daughters, the step-mother, Mrs. Malissie Owen, of Macomb; four half-sisters,
Mrs. Luella Frakes of Okesa, Okla., Mrs. Nettie Norris, Mrs. Ina Lance of Bethel, Mrs. Bessie McDonald of Colchester: one half-brother,
Robert Owen of Macomb. One brother and one-half brother passed away in infancy. One half-sister, Mary passed away at the age of ten years.
One sister, Mrs. Grace Horton, passed away Nov. 23, 1928. She leaves one niece, Mrs. Ermadean Silberer. of Macomb, and one grandson, Billie
DeWeese, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
But the Savior said, "Come," and she has gone to her eternal reward and will be missed by scores of people. She was a kind
mother and a good neighbor and bore her suffering with patience.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at 10:30 a. m. at the home by Rev. Hardin, of Colchester. Interment was in the
Willey cemetery.
