MRS. JUDITH INGLES-WARDELL, a
former resident of the vicinity of Rushville, died Friday at her late home in Macomb, aged 75 years, 6 months and 17
days.
The remains were brought to
Rushville Sunday where, from the Baptist church at 11 o’clock a.m., funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. Evans, assisted
by Rev. C. F. Conover. Internment was made in the Langford cemetery in Bainbridge township.
Judith Ingles was the daughter
of Coleman and Elizabeth Scaggs Ingles, and was born July 5, 1856, in Gentry county, Missouri. On March 30, 1876, she was united in
marriage to William Wardell, who has preceded her in death. On April 8, 1925, she went to Macomb from
Rushville.
The following children survive:
Mrs. Dora Herron of Pekin, Fred B. Wardell and Frank R. Wardell of Macomb, Thomas G. Wardell of Galesburg, Charles E. Wardell of
Beardstown, Mrs. Augusta Green of Monmouth, Mrs. Julia Green of Rushville, Bertha Davis of Astoria, James A. Wardell of Bushnell and
Kathryn R. Stevens of Macomb.
