Rites held in Browning for Mrs. Susan Dosier -- Mrs. Susan V Dosier, 91, of Browning died Friday in Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
Services were held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at
Assembly of God church. The
Rev. Anna Briney and the Rev. Hopping officiated and Burial was in Ridgeville Cemetery near Browning. Roby funeral chapel was in charge
of arrangements. She was born in Kentucky Dec 13, 1885, a daughter of Alfred and Harriet Herrin Doyle. She married Walter
Dosier in Beardstown on May 8, 1904. He
died Sept 6, 1969. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Lois Winkler of Plymouth, Mrs Mary Surratt of Macomb, Mrs Alene Lisenbee of
Beardstown and Mrs Louise Davis of Rushville. Also surviving are three sons, Elmer of Browning, Charls of LaPrairie and Alvy of Macomb;
28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. One daughter, one son, two brothers and seven sisters preceded
her in death. Mrs Dosier was a member of Assembly of God
church.
