Researching: CARPENTER
I was looking at your page and found a tidbit that
I would love to find out more information.
It was revolutionary Pensioners where a Benjamin
Carpenter was listed.
Do you know anyone that may have more information
about him or his children or anything at all? I do believe this person
is related to me, but have no way of tying him in. I am a decendant
of Abner Carpenter that came to Illinois (Mason Co census 1850). We have
suspected Benjamin is his father but have no other information....Abner
had a son, Benjamin, that is my line as well. That is why I think this
one is related family name passed down forever.
Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Researching: BARTUCH
Am looking for information on the Bartuch family
(surname by variant spellings). Schuyler Co. marriage record shows: John
Bartuch married Sarah Kennady on 3/4/1852; John Bartuch married Eliza J.
McCumber on 3/31/1853. Any information on these families for possible connection
would be appreciated.
I am blocked in finding ancestral information on
John Bartuch/Bartouch my ggrandfather that I found on the 1870 Miss. Co,
MO census. He age 30 and wife Mahala Unk. age 17. Two children: Lee Robert
b 1868 and William B. 1873. Due to age difference, John may have
been married before. Record shows him born IL or MO. The surname has been
different from family member to family member on this line. Original surname
unknown.

I've recently started tracking my Shuler family tree and I know they were
in Schuyler County for several years. John A Shuler married Sarah Rigsby
(Rigsbee) in 1858. Sarah's parents were John E Rigsby and Martha Fena. I
want to find out what happened to Sarah because she had children, I believe
3 then disappears. I assume she died, but can't find any additional
information. John A Shuler then married Caroline Walker in 1865, they moved
to Iowa in 1873. I'm also looking for background information on Caroline.
Her parents were Rachael and Felix Walker from Kentucky, sisters Sarah and
Catharine, brother John Henry. I can't locate where in Kentucky they came
from? If anyone is out there, let me know.
