Three years service.
Was organized at Chicago, as the first regiment of the Chicago Board of Trade. Was
mustered into service August 23, 1852, and on the same day started for Cairo. It served out its full term of service, and was mustered out at
Vicksburg, Aug. 6, 1865, and returned to Chicago, where it received final payment and discharge.
