Secures Debt: James E. Ridings and Elizabeth F. Ridings [nee Bennett] give two notes to James H. Harris in the amount of $437.50 each dated 29 Mar 1858. One is due Oct. 1, 1858 and the other is due March 1, 1859 with interest due at 10 percent from date of notes. As surety for these notes if not paid, the Ridings pledge to deed to James H. Harris the following property: 61 acres off east side of NE quarter of Section 29 T1N R1W of 4th P.M. This Indenture is dated 03 April 1858.
