The 12th Root Reunion was held Sunday, July 4, 1999, at Schuy-Rush Park.
Those attending were:
Marie Root, Rick and Lori Root, Rocky, Kim, Jessica and Dustin Root, Donald and Mary Root, all of Rushville; Bob, Kathy, Bobby Jett, Tyler Estes, of Locust Grove, Okla.; Randy, Angela, Chelsie and Daylan Root of Adair, Okla.; Troy, Laura, Ryan and Kyan Belville, Mark Root and Eileson Pimson of Worden; Verle, Mark and T. T. Root and Patty of Fowler; Mike, Dianne, Amy and Emily Seymour of Macomb; Gary and Janel Root, Robert, Hope, Traveir, Tyler and Tarren Root of Lake Villa; Larry, Nancy and Kari Root of Richmond, Mo.; Errol, Julie, Ryan and Nicole Root of Champaign; Clarence, Elizabeth and Kyle Root of Decatur, Ala.; Evelyn Crum of Bushnell; Mike, Billie Jo, Hannah and Rachel Root of Girard; Milford and Martha Cooper of Aledo; LaVern Root of Raritan.
The oldest attending was Marie Root, the youngest was Tarren Root, great-grandson of LaVern Root.
The reunion will be held next year on the first Sunday of July, at the same place.
