William B. Curless Obitutary
  
Newspaper: Astoria News From Vermont Union
Thursday May 17, 1917 William B. Curless who was in the employ of R. D. Munson on the latter,s farm near Industry, was struck by lightning and probably instantly killed on Wednesday evening of last week. The deceased was plowing when a bolt of lightning struck him. The accident was witnessed by one named Fred Taylor. Mr. Taylor immediately called help and when they appeared on the scene of the accident they found Mr. Curless lifeless. The body was brought to this place Friday where relatives from Bluff City took charge of the remains. Interment in Bluff City Cemetery.
