The LastWill of Elza C. Robeson, of the Township of Rushville, in the County ofSchuyler and State of Illinois, made and published the 4th day of Junein the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-four.

In the Name of God, Amen.
I, ElzaC. Robeson, of the Township of Rushville, in the County of Schuyler andState of Illinois of the age of 72 years, and being of sound mind and memory,do hereby make, publish and declare this my LAST WILL in manner following,that is to say:
FIRST:–Itis my will, that my funeral expenses and my just debts be fully paid.
SECOND:–Igive and bequeath of my son William Robeson for life my corner cupboard,and after his death to his son, Robert Robeson, and after the death ofmy grandson, Robert Robeson, I give and bequeath said cupboard to my great-grandson,William Robeson.
THIRD:–Allthe rest of my said furniture I give and bequeath to my daughter, ThelmaRoberts.
FOURTH:–Igive and bequeath to my daughter, Thelma Roberts my car.
FIFTH:–Idirect that my executor hereinafter named to pay the note, which I owemy daughter, Thelma Roberts in the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars.
SIXTH:–Idirect that my said executor convert into cash all the rest and residueof my personal property either at public or private sale using his bestjudgment.
SEVENTH:–Itis my Will that my said executor convert into cash within a reasonabletime as he shall deem proper either at public or private sale my said farmlocated in Section Ten (10), Rushville Township, Schuyler County, Illinois,paying the mortgage indebtedness, and to pay to my daughter, Thelma Robertsone-half of the net proceeds of the sale of the farm, one-sixth to my son,William Robeson, one-sixth to my daughter, Sarah Root, and one-sixth tomy daughter, Harriett Billingsley. The reason I have given a larger shareto my daughter, Thelma Roberts is that she stayed almost continuously forthe past 32 years and helped care for me and assisted me in the raisingof my smaller children.
EIGHTH:–Itis my will that my daughter, Thelma Roberts be permitted to live on thefarm until my said executor sells my farm.
NINTH:–Toeffectuate the provision of this Will I hereby authorize and empower myexecutor to sell and convey by proper deeds of conveyance and to deliverto the purchaser a deed thereto conveying the title thereto as fully asI might or could do if living.
LASTLY:–Ihereby nominate and appoint my son, William Robeson to be the Executorof this my Last Will, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
IN WITNESSWHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the 4th day of June in theyear of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-four.

Robeson, a resident of Rushville,Schuyler County, Illinois, died on August 18, 1966, at Rushville, Illinois,leaving a last will, dated June 4, 1964.
That theapproximate value of the real and personal estate of the testator in thisstate is undetermined.
That thenames and post-office addresses of all of the testator’s heirs, legateesand devisees are as follows:
Thelma R. Roberts – daughter- Heir and Legatee – Rt. 3, Rushville, Illinois.
William R. Robeson – son- Heir and Legatee – Rushville, Illinois.
Sarah E. Root – daughter- Heir and Legatee – Rt. 3, Rushville, Illinois.
Harriet J. Billingsley -daughter – Heir and Legatee – Rt. 3, Rushville, Illinois.That decedentnominated as executor, William R. Robeson, Rushville, Illinois, qualifiedand willing to act.
Praysthat will be admitted to probate and that Letters Testament issue and thatDick Powell be appointed appraiser.

Proofof Will filed August 30, 1966. Affidavit subscribed and sworn to by CharlotteStroops Weishaar and Ernest G. Utter, in open Court, before Harriett Hester,Circuit Clerk, August 30, 1966. Official seal affixed. Affiants state thatthey were present and saw the said Elza C. Robeson sign and seal and declaresaid instrument of writing as and for his Last Will, and they at his requestand in his presence, and in the presence of each other, subscribed theirnames as attesting witnesses thereto, and that they believe that the saidtestator was of sound mind and memory, of lawful age, and under no constraintwhen he signed said Will.

Order Admitting Will to Probateand Issuing Letters Testamentary
This daycame William R. Robeson of the County of Schuyler and State of Illinoisand produced in court an instrument in writing purporting to be the LastWill of Elza C. Robeson, and his petition duly verified praying that saidWill might be admitted to probate, and that Letters of Testamentary thereonmight be issued to William R. Robeson, the executor named therein, thehearing upon which was set for this day; and it appearing to the courtthat each of the heirs at law, legatees and devisees have filed their writtenEntry of Appearance herein;
And itappearing to the court from said testimony that said Will was duly executedand attested according to law, and that said testator was of sound mindand memory and otherwise competent to make his Will at the time of signingor acknowledging the same; IT IS ORDERED that said Will be considered provedand that it be admitted to probate as the Last Will of said Elza C. Robeson,deceased.
And itis further ORDERED that Letter Testamentary on said Will be issued to WilliamR. Robeson, the executor named in said Will, upon his filing in this Courthis bond as such executor in the penal sum of $5000.00 conditioned as thelaw directs and upon his taking an oath of office as required by law.
Thereuponsaid William R. Robeson presented a bond in the penal sum of $5000.00 dulyexecuted with surety thereon as required by law and also took and subscribedan oath of office as such executor. Whereupon it is Ordered that said bondbe approved and recorded and that Letters Testamentary be issued hereinto him.

In the Matter of the Estateof ELZA C. ROBESON
No. 66-P-28On thisday the matter of the heirship of the deceased comes before this court.The court having heard and examined evidence adduced in open court andbeing sufficiently advised in the premises hereby finds that the said deceaseddeparted this life testate on the 18th day of August, 1966, leaving thefollowing heirs at law:
Thelma R. Roberts – daughter- age 54
William R. Robeson – son- age 52
Sarah E. Root – daughter- age 46
Harriet J. Billingsley -daughter – age 39It istherefore ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that the said deceasedleft the above mentioned sole heirs at law upon his death, and that theseheirs are entitled to their share of the proceeds from the settlement ofthis estate as prescribed by due process of law.
