Last Will and Testament of John Finkenbinder, filed December 9, 1874 (recordedin Will Record “A”, page 48) recites:
“I, John Finkenbinder, of the County of Schuyler and State of Illinois,do make, and declare this my last will and testament in manner and formfollowing, to-wit:
First: It is my will that all my funeral expenses and all my just debtsbe fully paid.
Second: After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give, deviseand bequeath unto my beloved wife, Elizabeth Jane Finkenbinder, the farmon which we now reside situated in said County and known and describedas one hundred (100) acres off the West side of the South West quarterof Section Ten (10) in Township Two (2) North, range one (1) west of thefourth principal meridian, during her natural life and all the live stock,horses, cattle, sheep and hogs etc by me now owned and kept thereon; alsoall the household furniture and other articles of personal property nothere inumerated during her natural life after having disposed of a sufficientamount to pay and discharge the expenses and debts aforesaid and that ather death all the property aforesaid to her bequesthed or so much thereofas may remain unexpended after being sold shall be divided equally amongmy four children who are named as follows: Hannah Mary, Laura June, RachelAnn and Harriett.
And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife, Elizabeth JaneFinkenbinder executrix of this my last will and testament revoking andannulling all former wills by me made and satisfied and confirming thisand no other to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I, the said John Finkenbinder have hereunto set my handand seal this fifth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousandeight hundred and seventy four.

Represents that John Finkenbinder died on or about December 6,1874, leaving a Last Will and Testament, duly signed, published and attestedwith William Carty and Henry Hammond as subscribing witnesses and nominatingElizabeth J. Finkenbinder, petitioner, as Executrix. Further representsthat decedent died seized of real and personal property, said personalproperty being estimated to be worth about $1050.00. Prays that LettersTestamentary issue to petitioner Elizabeth J. Finkenbinder.
