Lashbrook Family Reunion

The 15th annual reunionof the descendants of Earl and Flora Lashbrook was held Sunday, July 18,at the Schuy-Rush Park in Rushville. After a delicious picnic lunch, thehot afternoon was spent catching up on family news, giving advice, reminiscingand picture taking.
The highlight of theday was when Granny-Mom’s (Flora Lashbrook) collection of family pictureswas presented to the family historian, Ruby Bryant. Ruth (Lashbrook) Wheelhousehas had the pictures in her safe keeping for over 20 years. Family memberswanting copies of said pictures are to contact Ruby.
Births reported are asfollows: Carl Lashbrook, a great-grandson, Maxwell Alexander Turner, anda great-grand-daughter, McKenzie Jordan Smith; Clyde Lashbrook a great-grandson,Chad Clong Williams, and a great-grand-daughter, Amanda Lashbrook; RuthLashbrook, a great-grandson, Zachary Lyle Campbell, and a great-grand-daughter,Krista Kay Fair, and a great-great-grandson, Elijah Kristafer Howe.
Family members and guestsin attendance were Willard and Betty (Lashbrook) Richey, Kathy Henry, RobertGarcia of Vermont; Tony and Rita Wheelhouse of Kewanee; Alvin Lee and SharonLashbrook of Camp Point; Barry and Paula (Sipes) Scego of Browning; Cindy(Bryant) Reither of Beardstown; Calvin, Amanda and Elisha Howe of Macomb;Dena Jones of Burlington, N.J.; Tom, Diana and Eric Lashbrook, WaynetteLashbrook, Randy and Jessica Richey, Tim and Janice Bryant, Mike Lashbrook,Riley Lewis, and David and Ruby (Lashbrook) Bryant, all of Rushville.
Next year’s reunion willbe held July 16.
