The above photograph is the Thomas Moore family taken in Schuyler County circa 1870.  The seated gentleman with the white beard is Thomas Moore born in Ireland, March 10, 1800, and deceased in Huntsville, November 3, 1882.  The standing man with the beard is William T. Moore (eldest son of Thomas), born October 8, 1827.  Both men and their families are shown in the 1850 and 1860 census records for Huntsville (1850) and Birmingham (1860) townships.

The young man, standing on the far right, is believed to be Arthur Moore (son of William T. Moore), born about 1853.  Most likely, his younger sister, Nancy J. Moore, is seated center in the first row.  The woman standing between William T. Moore and Arthur Moore is Sarah Frances (nee Bagby) Moore, William T. Moore’s second wife, married August 20, 1863.  William T. Moore and Sarah Frances Bagby Moore are my Great Grandparents.  Their three children were George Emmett Moore, born May 2, 1866, Homer Otis Moore, born August 30, 1871, and Margaret Maude Moore, born October 30, 1876, — All were born in Huntsville.  Maude Moore Dunham is my paternal grandmother. The exact identity of the remaining individuals is not certain.
