Huckabey Family Reunion

The descendants of Jamesand Mary Ann (Long) Huckabey held a family reunion at the 40 & 8 shelterhouse in Schuy-Rush Park on Sunday, July 11, with a potluck dinner at noon.
Ruth (Hackabey) Olandercelebrated her birthday with a lovely decorated cake, birthday wishes,and the singing of “Happy Birthday.”
The afternoon was spentvisiting, looking at family photos, and pontoon rides. Pontoons were furnishedby Jim and Nicky Cassady and andy Cassady. Honored guests were Rosemary(Reed) and Marshall Korinke. Rosemary is a cousin whom the local familyhad lost contact with for 35 years.
