In the obituary for Peter Franklin Cameron, he notes that his father, Peter Newton Cameron married Nancy A. Smith May 24, 1848 in Schuyler County, Illinois.  They were my 3rd great grandparents.  This is corroborated by the Illinois Marriage database.
Parents to James Newton Cameron, who was born in 1850, in Schuyler County, though we don’t know where they lived, In Schuyler County, Illinois.  James Newton Cameron was my second great grandfather.
